Spring floral wedding ideas

We’re riding on the crest of a wave this week after having two of our styled shoots feature on international wedding blog Wedding Chicks! You can see our ‘Bloomsbury’ styled shoot with Laura Murray Photography here and our romantic beach inspiration shoot with Theresa Furey Photography here. And in the interest of all things international we have a beautiful spring floral inspiration shoot from London/Brisbane based photographer Britt Spring. Not only is she lucky to be able to call both the UK and Australia home but Britt flexed her styling talents on this shoot and it’s safe to say she’s a natural! I love the prints and the endless colours!

From Britt: “This is my first styled shoot ever, i put it together on my own with the help of my lovely family. I shot it while on holiday visiting my family in Brisbane. I have to say I’m totally hooked (on styled shoots)! All the vendors are lovely local people and all my photos were shot on film cameras, Canon 1V 35mm and Contax medium format. The idea for the shoot was to try something a little different, ie floral dress and pink suit! I wanted to show how if you do your homework you can find special romantic places on your door step, literally, this was shot at a little creek where my mum lives prob about 3km from the city. It was a bit scary in the afternoon when the sun went down because there are lots of snakes in that creek, a couple of days before I scouted the area and we saw TWO!!!! Eeeek. But on the day it was snake free, thankfully, but mozzie infested….. The couple (Josh & Jamie) were real, they are friends of my sisters and volunteered for the day, what a gorgeous pair they made :) Can’t wait to get stuck into my second styled shoot soon!”
